Bangalore 19 March Guidelines

RACE NO. 1
Class V race to open the proceedings. SMART COOKY ran well enough last time out, but the jockey is a big turn-off. CUTE ANGEL from Sharat Kumar's stables can win, but back only if there is money flow at race-time. BOCCONCINO could be a good place bet.

RACE NO. 2
Another Class V race. S Britto's GOOD GIFT has the form but can win only if the trigger is pulled by the stable. Choice of jockey on I FANCY YOU indicates a possible coup in the making.

RACE NO. 3
CRIMINAL LAWYER lost its way in the betting itself last time out as money came pouring in on eventual winner Regal Glory. It may make amends tomorrow. S. Dominic's BUCEPHALUS is a live threat over this distance.

RACE NO. 4
The likely favourite TOPKAPI has to overcome the handicap of being ridden by KPG Appu who is woefully out of form and short on confidence. RAPTOR FORCE won't be the same force he was when jockey SA Desousa rode him. JS Dhariwal's OBAN devoured ground in Scimitar's race; now ably assisted by B Prakash she can upset.

RACE NO. 5
Irfan Ghatala's DOLCE VINO will be fancied with Suraj Narredu piloting him, but S Dominic's ENDURING SPEED is capable of springing a surprise.

RACE NO. 6
Deepak Khaitan's ALVIANO gulped down money last time out when going down tamely to Moon Memories; now meets quality field and won't have things easy. At likely odds of 80-90 paise, definitely not a value-for-money bet. SNOW PEAKS and HAMPTON COURT are both capable of upsetting - take your pick.
