Mumbai 20 December Guidelines

With 12 races scheduled for the day, I would straightaway eliminate those races in which winner-spotting is tricky. Race no. 7 (The Mulraj Goculdas Trophy), Race no. 9 (Indian 2000 Guineas), and Race no. 10 (2-year maidens' race) fall in this category. I recommend you watch and enjoy these 3 races.

RACE NO. 1
POMME DE TERRE is a demotee and should run well in this class; TOWERING HIGH can trouble her. Trainer Faisal Abbas' THE FIRST LADY gets the services of jockey S Sunil who did so well for the stable in the Pune season. Lets watch how the partnership takes off in Mumbai.

RACE NO. 2
The race appears to be between MONARCHOS and AMARANZA. If money comes on the former, he should win.

RACE NO. 3
GLORIOUS MISS looks outstanding in this set and should win.

RACE NO. 4
The Jhangiani-owned BLUE DANUBE will be available at unbackable odds. PREMIER PERCEPTION may be the place bet you are looking for.

RACE NO. 5
Brave-hearted Sprungli's daughter CONFISERIE's win would be the perfect way for the club to welcome its new president.

RACE NO. 6
DELTA FORCE and BENEDICTUS are unknown quantities. I would go each-way on SHODAAN.

RACE NO. 8
ROYAL PORTHCAWL was seen finishing on in its last essay. If she reproduces that run, she could win easily.

RACE NO. 11
It's sad to see Set alight's brother RIVER KNIGHT languishing in Class IV. He faces tough opposition in TRIUNFO, OH CALCUTTA, and SNOW QUEEN. I fancy the first-named on the basis of his good 2nd to Angelo in his last race.

RACE NO. 12
Demotee WILD TORRONADO gets the services of strong jockey Malesh Narredu, but the horse is unpredictable and is best left alone for now. I like ADAMS LAW who ran an eye-catching 3rd last time out.
